It may have taken a little longer than expected, but Milan have finally lifted the Serie A trophy once again following the conclusion of the 2021-22 season.
The Rossoneri’s 3-0 win over Sassuolo secured their first league title in 11 years as they finished two points ahead of intercity rivals Inter, who went into the Christmas break on top of the table.
The Scudetto was a result of the incredibly hard work carried out by Paolo Maldini, Stefano Pioli and the rest of the Milan staff, who have now been rewarded with confirmation of their growth.
