Massimiliano Allegri will continue to trust Christian Pulisic as Milan’s penalty kick taker this season: ‘You don’t change for a mistake.’
Pulisic missed a spot kick in Milan’s 0-0 draw against Juventus on Sunday, failing to score against the Old Lady for the first time in his career.
Allegri spoke about the American’s error from the spot during a post-match press conference attended by Football Italia.
What Allegri said about Pulisic’s penalty miss

“Pulisic has always been the penalty kick taker. You don’t change it for a mistake,” Allegri said.
“We need to understand who can be the penalty taker when Pulisic is not on the pitch.”

Pulisic remains the best Serie A goal scorer this season, with four goals in six appearances.
Roma and Napoli remain top of Serie A table

Milan’s draw against Juventus means the Rossoneri are no longer the table leaders, as Roma and Napoli beat Fiorentina and Genoa respectively, so they’ll spend the international break at the top of the standings.
Juventus, on the other hand, are level on 12 points with Inter, three points below the leading pair.
Milan will host Fiorentina at San Siro after the international break, while Juventus will visit Cesc Fabregas’ Como.
