Paris Saint-Germain have officially announced their squad for the UEFA Super Cup final against Tottenham Hotspur, confirming that Italy no.1 Gianluigi Donnarumma has been excluded from the team following the signing of Lucas Chevalier.
Donnarumma is being forced out of Paris Saint-Germain, despite his heroics on the way to the club’s first ever Champions League trophy last season, and has not even been included in the travelling squad for the UEFA Super Cup.
This comes after PSG announced the signing of French goalkeeper Chevalier for a fee in the region of €40m before bonuses earlier this week.
Official: PSG leave Donnarumma at home for UEFA Super Cup

While PSG are entitled to bring in replacements as they see fit, the club have taken a hard line with Donnarumma, who will not even be among the substitutes against Tottenham on Wednesday night.
The decision to omit Donnarumma from the Super Cup squad comes after his failure to agree to a contract extension at the Parc des Princes, despite months of negotiations.
Donnarumma is now expected to leave PSG this summer, with a host of Premier League sides including Manchester United thought to be interested in making a move.
