Zion Suzuki will soon be a protagonist on the transfer market, so Parma got themselves a bargain signing the Japanese goalkeeper and are going to make a big profit.
The Ducali had vision when securing the Japan international in July 2024 from Belgians Sint-Truiden for €7.5m plus bonus and a 10 per cent cut of the future sale.

His value now is already more than triple that, at around €20-25m, but it is expected to keep growing further, especially after his fantastic performance against Genoa.
He was decisive in that 0-0 draw, making some big saves quite apart from parrying the stoppage-time penalty.
There had already been interest in Suzuki from three other Serie A sides, but the appreciation of the goalkeeper is now beyond Italian shores.
Still only 23 years of age, he is ready for the next step in his career, and Parma were wise to hold on when receiving proposals over the summer, instead raising funds with the sale of Giovanni Leoni to Liverpool.
